The TLV Free Float Steam Traps are a Float type steam trap that utilise a floating ball as the only moving part internally. The reduction of the moving parts reduces the commonly faced problems that can be encountered with traditional mechanical style Steam Traps. The self modulating free float provides continuous, smooth, low velocity condensate discharge as process loads vary. This is acheived through a precision ground float, constant water seal and a three-point seating design. The addition of the Thermostatic capsule with "fail open" feature vents air automatically until close to steam temperature.
